    Correct starter for '62

    I show the correct part number for the starter on my '62 327/340hp car as being 1107233. Can anyone confirm that that is correct for a 1962 Hi performance car or was it different for the hi performance car?

      The NCRS Corvette Spec Guide reads:

      1107889 Early (usage unverified)
      1107233 All with Manual Transmission
      1107219 All with Powerglide Transmission
      1107242 Late (useage unverified)

      This suggests time of build + configuration of car are issues...

          David....7233 Is Correct For You Car...good Luck....it's A 62 Only Starter...and Near Impossible To Find.

              Can you also confirm the part number for the upper inner shafts on the front suspension as 3693693?
