Vacuum line routing for C2 with a/c

With reference to the vacuum lines that run between the heater control valve in the engine compartment and the temp control vacuum switch behind the glove box: Do the lines run along the top of the firewall and bundle with harness over the wiper motor? It appears that the assembly manual shows the vacuum lines running below the wiper motor and held in place with clips. I have no evidence of clips below the motor and the pictures I have seen of other a/c cars show the lines running on top of the wiper motor. Anyone know if it is over or under? 64 coupe. Jim

Jim, I feel your pain. My 64 ac coupe has the vac line running through the throttle linkage and in front of the dist and across the valve cover. Thats obviously not correct. I see no evidence of any clips below the wiper. I do see an empty clip above the wiper fastened to the bottom of the cowl. Hope someone has the answer, Dan

I decided to run the lines across the top of the firewall and bundle them with the hood release cable. Other than the assembly manual ( which is not clear) I think that makes the most sense. Jim
