Emblem locations 66 Help

Hi, I just got car back from painter and all holes for hood and rear script emblems were filled in.

The AIM shows the locations but not the measurements.

Could someone tell me the hood driver side front measurement.

How many inches from side and bottom , so I can drill holes.

Same for the rear, how far from rear edge line and from side

I found the measurements, Thank you all for the tips

Hood : 2" from bottom edge of emblem to edge of hood driver side front

2 1/16" from rt. edge of emblem to rt. edge of hood

Rear : 15 1/2 " right of center line on rear to left bottom edge of emblem

5 3/4 from bottom edge of emblem to rear edge

great link , it gave me the measurements for hood front. Just as I thought 2' and 2 1/16 .

Now I have to find rear script measurents.

Jack,

Did you look underneath in the rear for evidence of where the emblem was before the holes were filled by the painter?

Did you paint your car the 65 glen green, 66 had mossport green ,looking at your photo's i thought it was a 65. anyway good luck and i would look underneath also, you will be able to see the holes.

It is a 66 with BRG and metallic Glen Green from 65. So it is just the right color for me, and at least I have Corvette paint on it.

Finished the emblem job. Thought I would share some photos

It was time, lots of damage from taking off emblems over the years. It was easy with a template. I just needed the measurements

Happy with car , vent windows and side windows next. Just have to be patient with that part. Just getting the vent channel in door without ...... well we know the top opening of the door is just so wide...

I like the look without the vent windows, but I like vent windows for what they do.
