    73'/74/ Judging Guide Item 2

The owners packet is to contain a trim ring instruction card and a radio instruction sheet (among several other items). Do any 74' owners have these items? Note: The AIM does not appear to me to specify these items.

    Robert -

In the midyear era, those items were listed in the Assembly Manual in UPC 0, on the "Miscellaneous Shipping List" sheet.

The trim ring card was part of the items but their is some question about the radio instruction sheet. The easy way out is to buy both or try to change the TIM&JG.

I rechecked the AIM. It makes no mention of a radio instruction card. There is a drawing note that says that the trim ring card was discontinued with a drawing revision date of 12/7/73. So I guess that some 74's would have the trim ring card and late built ones like mine would not. However I can't see how any 74's would have a radio instruction card if the AIM does not call for one.

The AIM is also the reason why I asked the question about the hardtop wrench. It is not listed in the AIM so it is hard for me to imagine the car getting shipped with the wrench.

....I've judged a couple of low mileage early 1976 Corvettes that have had the trim ring card that I remember.
