Re: The Great Hall - B.G.
Next question, what is the history of the Manta Ray? How many were made? A co-worker said he saw one up on blocks covered with dust in Jetta, Saudi Arabia a few years ago. He thought about trying to buy it, but did not pursue it. Is that the same car, or were there more than one?

Re: The Great Hall - B.G.
I believe the Manta Ray is a one off styling car. Created from the Mako Shark 2. It was a popular thing to customize Corvettes to look like that back in the 70's. I am no expert on this car, but I'm sure the one you see in the pictures is the one and only.Next question, what is the history of the Manta Ray? How many were made? The first ten people to be inducted into The Great Hall..from various contributions to the hobby.
Each gave some background of their involvement with Corvette. Bob McDorman teared up several times and left no doubt his Loyalty was to Chevrolet and the Corvette. He pledged to stay in business for another five years to hit the 50 year mark as a Chevrolet dealer.
