2004 Z06 lug nuts...

i just bought a 2004 Z06 that is supposedly ALL stock from the second owner. so she said. a friend said the lug nuts had been changed as his 2002 Z06 has the lugs with the silver screw-on cap over the lug nut itself. i have examined the dealer brochures from 2001-2004 and they seem to show chrome lugs on the 03-04 Z06 silver wheels. did they change to the solid chrome lugs in 03? which means mine are correct. thanks in advance!

Kevin, I don't know if you want to call them chrome, but were more of a slightly polished stainless. I was also thinking it was 04 when the those lugs came into effect.

It sounds to me like you have the correct lug nuts. My 2004 Z06 Z16 does not have those plastic covers like older C5s had.
