Maybe someone can point me in the right direction on this matter....
The previous owner of my '57 "enlarged" the radio opening in the dash in order to fit a radio/cassette player (this was done back in the '80's....). He not only cut through the fiberglass, but also hacked up the metal support bracket behind the dash turning it into junk (this is the bracket to which the gauges are mounted...) The car was originally a radio-delete car, so the damage needs to be repaired. I also need the single-bar, radio-delete plate to cover the opening....
Does anyone know if these support brackets are reproduced (So far, I can't find anyone who does....)? Does anyone know who might have one of these brackets for sale? I'll be at Carlisle next month.....
thanks
