I have 2 radios 68-73 style model # 21VFP1 & 01VFP3 what year are they? AM/FM mono

These are called "service model number" (I think).
I think the way this works is
Year
GM Division
Vehicle
Radio type (two characters)
Revision
so 21VFP1 is
1972
Chevrolet
V = Corvette?
FP = AM/FM push button (mono)
1st Revision
and 01VFP3 is
1970
Chevrolet
V = Corvette?
FP = AM/FM push button (mono)
3rd revision
I am guessing on the V = Corvette part, but it seems like a good guess.
FYI: Radio Type: PB = AM push button, FP = AM/FM push button (mono), FM = AM/FM push button (stereo), MP = Multiplex Adapter
