Can someone explain the two character identification of the punched inspection label located on top of the ignition coil on '86 Vettes? My label is missing and I'm interested in trying to reproduce a valid label but I don't understand the nomenclature. One reference tells me the "HA" is a valid label. Another known original car has "K4". Is there some relationship to build date and shift or does it just identify some specific inspector?
The second part of my question relates to the barcode part number on the coil. The number on my car is 1103680. Another reference says it is 1103595. Are there various part numbers used thru the model year? The JM only states there is a part number label - not what it should be.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
