Can someone please direct me to a site where I can find the factory specified correct blackout paint requirements for underbody, chassis and misc. components like pullys, battery heat shield, air inlet duct brackets, air filter housing, generator, fan, radiator, etc. etc.?? After 48 years of dirt buildup I am having difficulty determining what locations should be painted flat, semi gloss, gloss, etc. for my '62 F.I. restoration. Thanks, Anton

Re: Under Body, Chassis & Components Blackout 1962
This is the only site I would expect to find that type of info. What you will find with an archive search however will not be all inclusive. The information will be tidbits and morsels shared by those who've posted regarding individual components here and there.
Your best bet would be to purchase the 61/2 Judging Guide from the NCRS book store. It will not likely be perfect, but it is the standard by which your car will be judged by if you ever choose to go down that path.
