    Driveline Ad Correction

I don't know if this is permissible, but here goes. I submitted an ad in the current "Restorer" for a numbers matching 1958 245 hp Corvette engine. The contact information for me is incorrect. My email is eco2000@mfx.net. I hate to wait for the next "Restorer"
to get the word out the engine is available.

With a DB post, you effectively reach MAYBE 2-5% of the club's membership. So, don't hold your breath on this post having major impact your ad...

Sorry I meant "Driveline" not "Restorer".

I found the add, PAGE 35, DL#194, 4th add down, says "1957 engine, cast 3737739, date L147 (Dec. 14, 57) heads cast 770, date L187. Pad is F1223CT= Flint, Dec. 23, CT=245hp, Cleaned, maged, and fresh rebuild, with oil pan, 493 water pump, dated duel point dist., and generator. also 2x4 Carb setup all rebuilt for sale also."

LOOKS LIKE A GREAT SET UP FOR VIN NUMBER 2511 OR CLOSE.

I had the engine built for my '58 vin # 2838. The car sold before I could install the engine and the buyer didn't want to pay the extra $$$$ for the numbers matching engine.
So, now I have this beautiful engine looking for a home.

A good friend owns 4201, which is to late for this engine. I asked him last night if he had any interest at all. He said if the engine is priced reasonably he possibly could have interest. How much is the engine ?? Carburator set up? He needs it all.

Thanks to the TB and participants, I have had inquiries concerning the engine.
