    1957 head bolt markings

    I thought that this topic would be beat to death but could not find it on the Forum or in the manual. What are the accepted head bolt marking?

      John, I don't have reference material with me but IIRC they are the circle within a circle and I think '58 used the same. I am certain Gary knows.

          Double Circle, AP, F are some of the early headmarkings.

                  I have a set from an Aug '57 Flint (as I recall) pass car engine, "M" within a circle on all.
