Joe, again thanks. I am attaching a photo of the extra set I have here at home. My originals do not have a bezel as my Corvette was made the first week of August 1994 (233). Does it look like this plastic you have or metal. I also noticed the number four (4) stamped on the plastic one you have. Notice the number four (4) stamped in the one I have.

Joe, the first attachment did not work. I can not attach the front of the matIt tells me here that I have already attached it in the past. I tried to change the name but it did not work. Please look at the very first submission in this discussion for a photo of the bezel with the number 4 stamped into it.

Joe, after further review, it appears that the mat I have contains the high impact plastic bezel. At first blush to me it looked like metal. But as I just told Tom Hendricks, I am older than dirt.
Thanks for all your help and the main object of the survey to determine if at the start of the 1995, no bezel in the floor mat has been obtained.

Larry, what year is your Corvette?

I have found out that the change over to a bezel was sometime in December 1994. If your Corvette is a 1994 or 1995, your mats would not contain the bezel with that low of a VIN. Yourbuild date is probably August.

It is a '95. It is pretty stock, but I will need to get a set of the original mats in black. I just got the '94-'96 book so I will be checking things out this weekend
