Re: Updated Judging Points
In all these cases Roy Sinor has to approve the points entered before they show up in your profile.
Are you having an issue with specific points?Terry- Top

I am missing one day's points at the Charlotte National. I got one day, but not the second day.- Top

Re: Updated Judging Points
OK, the meet judging chairman for that event is Roy Sinor. You have to address the issue directly with Roy.
Sometimes things get hectic and the sheets turned in by various Team Leaders aren't readable/legible, there's a digit transposition during data entry or a limiting 'bar' is reached which denies the award of further points.
By the later, I mean there's a specific limit on the number of points that can be earned by a given individual at a given meet. Once you reach that cumulative limit, no further points are awarded despite services rendered...- Top

Re: Updated Judging Points
If they were earned through the Advanced Judging Seminar(s) -- I am responsible. Please be patient as I am in the process of checking the AJS attendees against meet registration. The ADJ was well attended and the numbers are kind of overwhelming.Terry- Top

Re: Updated Judging Points
Fenwick & Terry et al,
The list on the database shows you judged exterior for the 1990-1993 class on Friday...it doesn't show you judged another day nor does it show that you attended any of the advanced judging tech sessions...
as Terry states, the advanced judging school lists are the only ones that haven't been posted yet...and it's very time consuming...all other judging entries that Roy is responsible for have been posted.- Top

Re: Updated Judging Points
Fenwick,
I believe you will find if you check your points now that the credit for the days is correct. My records show you judged 90-92 Chassis on Friday and 93-96 Interior on Saturday.
Hope this meets your assignment responsibilities.- Top

Re: Updated Judging Points
Thanks Kevin. A picture is sometimes worth a lot of words. The numbers for the AJS are supposed to be limited to 50 for a lot of reasons the least of which is the time it takes to post the results. I (or maybe it should be we) were fortunate in that there were a lot of skilled helpers and some outstanding cars so no one should have been bored and all should have had something of interest to look at. That took care of the daily issues at convention, but now we have the rest of the story.
My belief is that if we are in the business of education, and I believe we are, then it is not productive to turn anyone away. I didn't, and now y'all will have to be patient.
Edit add: Last night as I was working on Saturday's Judging Seminar participants I came across the signature of Charlie Cadenhead. That caused a pause in my progress.Terry- Top

Re: Updated Judging Points
Hi,
The AJS points earned at the National Convention are valuable because of the originality of the cars the owners were willing to make available, and the TEAM of instructors that Terry was able to assemble!!
Thanks very much.
