Trailing arm rebuild source in Ohio area..or close by..

I was installing my rallies today on the 67 and during installation I notices the pass rear bearing has excessive play so out it came. Not too bad, 2hrs later its ready to be shipped out. I live in the Toledo area and am currious if you all know of a reliable source to handle my job.

James one rebuild feature you will get from Bairs is the rotor/disc riveted to the spindle and trued just like your 67 left the factory with.
The great thing about this service is that your 67's disc will not be contributing to bleeding of the caliper to get air out of it.

Agree.

However, GaryR drills and countersinks the rotor and uses special screws/bolts that hold things securely, and can also be removed later to service the parking brake shoes, etc. Very nice!! And his run-out numbers are second to none.

Again, both are outstanding rebuilders.....you can't go wrong.

Well I'm giving my local guy a shot. Earl Smith aka "Smitty" has been working on vettes for a long time and has done many arms. Cureous though, how much have you paid for your rebuilds?

If you have a local who really knows how to set up the bearings etc..Go for it. The shipping raises the cost considerably. But I didn't have the time to search a local pro out. I am very happy with Bairs.
