Where would be a good place to try and find a block casting #3892657?

I did some looking and from what I can see it was used on 67 302,327 and 350 engines so with the 327 in there it shouldn't be that hard to find one should it?

I just started looking but so far haven't had much luck so any advice would be appreciated.

The fact that the 3892657 was used for other engines besides the 327 is not going to help you too much. There were very few 302 cid engines manufactured in 1967 and there really weren't too many 1967 350 cid engines manufactured, either. The 302 was used only in Camaro Z-28's and, for 1967, the only use of the 350 cid engine was the Camaro SS-350. So, if you find a 3892657 block the chances are it's going to come from an original 1967 327 of which there were probably hundreds of thousands manufactured. Unfortunately, most of those have probably been melted down for scrap by now. Still, there should be some around. You might try Tracy Performance in Roseville, MI.

They are still out there. I don't know where you live but provided you are near old school junk yards check there. I know here in NC there are still some in the junk yards.
Members offer them for sale in the Drive line too.

Thanks guys. I guess it will just take some time and like you say, looking in some of the older junk yards. Actually Joe this engine will be for my brother's 67 Camaro SS/RS so I'm banking on the vast amount of 327's that were built to help us out. I'll give Tracy's a call too.

Greg, check Hemmings Chevrolet and Corvette Parts sections. I know there are two sources in WI or MN that advertise blocks & heads. www.hemmings.com IIRC

I have 2 of them, both cast in Dec 66 and were originally Chevelle 275 hp apps.
