I have remove the tri-power from my 68 427/400 and installed a Qjet and intake. I have NOT changed the fuel pump and do not plan to. Obviously the old fuel line will not work, neither will a 390 HP fuel line >> (no return line back to tank) So the question is simple does any one know of a pre-bent fuel line that will work in my current application ... I was looking at the 66 427 fuel line and it appears to look the same

Re: fuel line for conversion on C3- 68
My very early 68 tripower doesn't have a return line back to the tank. I wonder when they made that change.. I thought about canning my tripowers too but too many people here convinced me to keep them. Just had them rebuilt and now runs great. Looks cool too..
Good luck

NO 1968 3X2 had a fuel return line. No 1969 3X2 had one, either. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

A 1966 or 1967 fuel line won't work inasmuch as those applications used a Holley carb.
Here's what will work (I THINK): use a 1968 L-36 fuel line WITHOUT the fuel return. There's no way you're going to get fuel return with ANY set-up (without adding the frame return line and changing the gas tank).
The only thing you need to do is to obtain a fuel filter of the same size and end-fitting configuration but without the fuel return nipple. I feel pretty confident that such a filter is out there, but I can't tell you what specific part number to look for. In fact, such a filter will likely be easier to find than a GF-432.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
