    Master Cylinder Julian date

I would like an opinion on this master cylinder. It is a standard brake MC. Do these numbers mean the 206th day of the year? And it looks like there is a small 5 stamped to the far right. Does this look correct? 206th day of 1965?

    Thanks.

Ron it's on the casting where the outboard cap spring clip attaches. Don't know what the small number 5 that Larry shows could be.

Advanced Search on "2225032" and you'll find a lot of threads on these numbers, but no definitive finding that it's a julian date.
