Yes, these pans appear to be of correct configuration to me. I won't guarantee that there might be some nuance of difference, though.
However, the second of the two pans is, in my opinion, in such a condition that it's in NO WAY worth the minimum bid, let alone more than that.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1962 340 Hp Oil Pan Question
Speaking of nuances, here's a picture of a very similar pan from ebay:
I speculate that this is the early ('60-'61) trap door pan. The baffles are different. This pan also has one long rib on each side.

Bill, thank you for the pictures, they are most helpful. I have not used the discussion boards much since I have been a member. However, I read them daily. The people in this organization and these boards are amazing with the wealth of knowledge they have.- Top

No, the only 1955-82 Corvette oil pans still available from GM are the 1975-79 pans which were shared with many passenger cars. All other 1955-82 Corvette pans were unique to Corvettes. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1962 340 Hp Oil Pan Question
From Joe Lucia:
"there was a Corvette oil pan of GM #359937. It was a SERVICE-only oil pan applicable to 57-62 Corvettes. It's basically the same as the 1962 Corvette oil pan with a front seal radius of the 1975+ size and uses 75+ gasket set.."- Top

Re: 1962 340 Hp Oil Pan Question
Bill, could that be described as the '61 and earlier 3 step pan WITH THE SECOND STEP removed? It seem likely (possible) that represents a transition to the 63-4 non-solid lifter pan with the DEPRESSED area on your second stage expanded DOWN and leveled out...
Someone please tell me what I just typed....- Top

Re: 1962 340 Hp Oil Pan Question
I think the pictures might be a little deceptive, but it is from '62 VIN 1843, FI car, and it was three steps at least when I was looking at it upside down on the engine stand. That is about all the info I can provide on it.Bill Clupper #618- Top
