I have removed the 10 bolts from the frame and the bumpers. Does the bumpers braces have to come off? What else needs to removed?

Re: Removing body on 58
Yes all bumper braces front and rear must be removed. Remove the trunk filler panel to get the rear braces out. There are 4 front braces per side. Remove all of them. The radiator support should stay attached to support the inner skirts and surround(nose). I put a strap from the rad support to the dash area through the speaker hole(with windshield removed), to help support the nose when lifting.

Re: Removing body on 58
1. Remove exhaust tips
2. Remove master cylinder line
3. Remove pitman arm and steering column
4. Remove steering column from frame and tie up
5. Remove radiator shroud
6. Remove baffle that is between front and radiator
7. Disconnect parking brake cable
8.Remove gas fitting between tank and lines
9. You say you removed "8bolts" , there are 10
8 in the seat area, 2 front radiator support, 2 in the rear tire wells
10. If you have automatic, remove neutral safety wires
11. I remove the generator because its real close when you bring the body up.
12. Revove shifter linkage
13.Remove heater hoses
There is probably a few other things , but this gives you a great start..............
