Hi,
I am putting the wiring back in my 71 LT-1. On the cowl, in the wiring harness right below the wiper motor, is a black wire sticking out of the harness, that has been cut. There are 3 black wires in this location that I can see. 1 is the transmission switch, the other is the ground wire from the hood alarm and fan motor which goes to the ground terminal on the wiper. The other is about 16 ga, and is cut off. I traced it back to the fuse block, where it changes to a large pink wire, which feeds the ignition switch. The wiring diagram, does not show anything else in the area, fed by a black wire. Any ideas? Thanks, Mark
