Re: 1960 Corvette really "Hauls"
Somewhere in the early Restorers, I think there is a picture of Dale Pearman's '62 on a "parts procurement tour" through CA and AZ with a 327 block in PLACE OF the RH passenger seat - trunk was full. His relative Ken, may still have the block.- Top

Re: 1960 Corvette really "Hauls"
This guy bought a 30 gallon air compressor and hauled it home this way. It covered the shifter, and protruded into the drivers seat about 3"! I don't know how he could drive it very far.
I remember talking to Dale Pearman in Steamboat back in '95. He said he was stopped on the curvy road coming into Steamboat. The State Trooper asked him how fast he was going, and Dale replied, "Oh, about 55-60." The Trooper said he did not get him on Radar, but he thought he saw him sideways in one of the curves. Just before he let him go the trooper asked him, "How fast will one of these old cars go?" Dale replied, "Oh about 140!"- Top
