What to do with the chalk marking on frame

My friend is restoring a -66 Coupe. When cleaning the frame he found the original chalk markings. The question is what do you do with this marking when next step is to blast and paint the frame? What do you guys do, I assume it is not so vise to remove this original markings?

Hans,

take several refrence photos and trace it on tracing paper. That way you can put it back on right where it was when the frame is painted.

If you can't preserve them during the resto, at least photograph them. You can then duplicate them during the restoration.
