    Leather (off subject)

The leather on the seat of my 2004 car has dark lines from wear in the light tan leather (94 K). The seats have been treated with leather conditioner since new. Does anyone know of a product to correct this problem? I was told to buy a product called 'Luxol". I can not find it on the interner net. Suggestions are appreciated. Thank you Dale

Most feed and tack stores carry it, used on saddles and tack.

Dale, I used it regularly on my black leather and was pleased with how it kept the leather from drying out. I began using it after Connelly discontinued production. I don't know how it will work to prevent the dark lines.

            Good Luck!

I got the cleaner at Ace and the conditioner at Pep Boys. It cleaned the seats nicely but left the dark lines. It is a light cream interior. Anyone had experience with the leather dye that is advertised on the internet?. Thank you. Dale

You might have to take it to the professionals. They cleaned up my white STS seats.

Dale, I don't have any experience with that dye. Years ago I spoke with Ken or Gary and they told me about the dye the used in the shop, but I can't remember what it was. Might call Houston.

Lots of discussion on leather in the archives, but I could'nt find anything about creases specifically. Lots about Lexol, though.
