68 : Wiper Motor Label

I was hit for no wiper label at last judging. The judging manual mentions a 69 label but no 68 label. A little help on this , a pic would be great if one should exist. Thank You ,Jeff

Jeff I don't know if this helps but the 70-72 label is only a piece of bright foil with the part no. and date in with black numbers only about one inch long and 3/4 inch wide it is glued to the wiper motor lower case. paragon does reproduce them.

I have never seen a '68 wiper motor label either. I have seen them on '69's however. I had to remind one of the judges at the September Regional that '68's did not have them. He didn't believe me but gave me the benefit of the doubt. It should be addressed in the new edition of the TJM.

Took a peek at my original owner 68 convertible's wiper motor. Viewing the wiper motor from the drivers side I did not see any label.

Jeff, I helped judge a 68 at our chapter meet Saturday and it had a label on the motor. It was a tan or discolored white paper label on the motor. Most of the printing was wiped off and couldn't be read. This was a December car. I guess it is possible that it had a replacement motor. We couldn't find a date code on it.
