West Virginia title search help

Trying to find out how to do a title search for West Virginia. Their DMV site didn't really help. Any help would be appreciated.

just went through this with them in september,either ring them (304)558-1012 , this would be easier or there is a link to on there website to ask for a " Request For Vehicle Information Form" they can email or send out the forms and you will need to post them back ( no forms online) hope you can do better than I did ,mine came back with NO RECORD FOUND. good luck

Did a search on a 68 Plymouth GTX 440 I owned. Their records go back 50 YRS. But a Black hole. There was an alledged flood in the early 70's destroyed some DMV records. Hopefully your car fails to fall into it. Otherwise they have records as of 2002 when I checked.

Thanks guys! Knowing the official name of the proper form allowed me to find it online. We will see what happens.

Also, according to the form, it looks like (304)558-1012 is the fax number and the regular phone number is (304)558-0282.
