Can I fix this? (67 soft top)

I lost 2 points at Regionals because of the "wrinkle" in the soft top matieral. You can see it right behind the wireon area. In other words, from the bottom of the soft top near the back, follow the seam straight up alongside the window until it hits the piece that runs side-to-side across the back. At the JUNCTION of those two, the main part of the vinyl is wrinkled a bit. The wrinkle shows as a slight shadow in this picture.

I looked at an article I had on how the shop would have installed the top. It looks like the rear wireon piece is STAPLED onto the top. If that's the case, how the heck can I fix this?

whoever deducted 2 points for your beautiful top has obviously never installed one, gotta believe the cars left st louis with more than a few wrinkles, but on the other hand, when judging you're gonna lose a few points here and there and a wrinkle caught the judges eye, if you bitch too much they are just gonna be hard asses elsewhere, just smile and nob.

Chris, looks like this can be fixed. Remove the wire on then pull enough staples to stretch wrinkle out. A hot area help
s. It just staples together. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, a good top/upholstry shop should do it fairly resonably priced.
