I like their skill with the lucky strikes - very little ashes in the car.

To honor those days, word is that NCRS is going to require judges to arrive at the field in shirt and tie.

Nice documentary. Thanks for sharing. I wonder where the SS is now?

              Terry -

It belongs to the Indianapolis Speedway Museum; that's where it's parked unless GM borrows it for special occasions.

                  Hi Bill,
Thanks very much for the link!
I think it's interesting that such a functionally beautiful car could be designed with a human brain, a 'good eye, a triangle, a beam compass, and probably a slide-rule.
                  Thanks again!
                  Regards,
                  Alan

I liked the part where Zora's bosses came by for a look but they still had their coats on since they weren't going to stay long and I'm sure that suited him just fine...........don't think he ever got along with any of them

And they probably wondered about his skirt!
I was fortunate to see the SS before and after restoration. It appears the rear license plate (zero's) did not make it on the restoration. Anyone know if the top made it to Indianapolis in '75? --- or left in Milford?

The first thing that struck me was no computers (of course, but something that today you would see all over the design room). Those guys were really working hard.
