'68 Wiper Door Actuator Adjusting Nut

The 1 3/4" long actuator adjusting nut (1/4" right hand thread at one end and 1/4" left hand at the other). Mine is black with the last 1/4" on the right hand thread end appears to be a light green. Is this correct? Also what is the finish on the jam nut?

Brian, The door jam adjuster nut you have it exactly how its suppose to be, The black out process in the wiper recess area may have coated the adjuster nut on one side(facing the wiper recess) the other may have not been exposed. the locking nut should be zinc.
