68 Quadrajet flooding in only one primary

I installed a newly rebuilt date correct 68 rochester quadrajet a fue monthes ago. It ran great for several miles. Now it has started to dump fuel in the passenger side primary at idle. It acts like the float is set wrong but only comes out of one primary. I inspected the float level and it was set ok. I also installed a new needle and seat, gaskets, and inside of carb is still nice and clean. Tryed it again and it had no change. I tryed to set the float a bit lower to drop the fuel level in the bowl just to see if it would change anything, no change. Any info on what to check next? Is it possable that there is some kind of small crack in carb itself? Its been a while since I have played with quadrajets, And I never had one flood over on just one side?? My question is, can one thing cause a carb to dump fuel in just one primary?

Is the body of the carb warped? Possibly more so on the pass side. Do you know the hsitory of the carb? Need to isolate where the fuel is coming from or out of (easier said than done I realize).

could be a plugged air bleed on that side. the air bleeds are also a siphon break so if the fuel keeps flowing after you shut off the engine i would check there first

I would say it is warped, I can see it with just looking at it on a flat surface. More so in the front. How much is to much of a warp, or is any no good. And if i'm thinking wrong wouldn't it cause a air leak if the gasket would not seal around this aera? Or is fuel getting where it should not go and making it flood out the center of the primary.
Carb came with the car in a box. I had it rebuilt and ran it for a while after that and all was well. It had a holley on it when I purchesed the car. I was trying to put it back to stock. Not to much more I know about it.
Fuel comes out in the very center of the ventury, same place where it starts to flow a little off idle.
I checked all the internal passages and vent tubes again, clean as can be.

try a double gasket between the main body and the top. the re builders use a special thick gasket you can not buy on the open market so i just use 2 gaskets. to check for warpage put the top on with out a gasket and see what you have. i have fixture i straighten the top in but you have to have the top match the main body and some times the main body is warped and the top is too straight it will not seal

Well I tryed two gaskets, still no change. The top is pretty warped, it felt better with the two gaskets, and I had a glimmer of hope. But still no good. I have the chance to try a second top section that a friend has, and I think I will try it.

remember all Q jet tops are not the same as some have a air bleed resriction and some do not.
