I could not agree more. His parts auction did very well last year and I hope that this one does as well or even better.

I agree, but what a shame to break up his collection. How many other collections out, free to the public. have one of every year Corvette? Bob is a wonderful man but I personally think it is a sad day for Corvette enthusiasts.

It is sad that his collection is being broken up but that's life. We are just caretakers for these cars.

Hate to see some of these cars go. I sold some of them to Bob. I will be at the sale tomorrow.

not the first time he sold some of his collection off - this time it is permanent as he is at least 80 years old and with the inheritance taxes screaming he is trying to protect his family

Remember forks this is the second time he has sold his collection. He sold one of every year at Bloomington years ago. I was there & still have the brusquer. Please don't cry too many crocodile tears. He is Car dealer after all & all good things come to a end. I am selling all but two of my Corvettes & I hope the next person enjoy es them like I did. My 70 454 Al option Conv. was bought at his store.
