Thanks for the reply. Yes, my repo which I recently purchased has the raised Delco Remy on top and the raised embossed 12V 202 on the side, but I imagine a sharp judge would say it is not the original coil. I'm wondering whether you are saying that the 202s which you have and are undrilled are NOS and "period correct" (i. e., true originals) or are you unsure of their provenance. Yes, I'm in no hurry to drill mine then again on the other hand it would appear to be not too difficult, but would it actually improve acceptance?

, although I suspect the embossed characters will not be as "crisp" as those produced during regular production.
. So the "Corvair" 202 is all I have exposed, and it has the 12-dash-V under the 202.
