    70 wiper motor ground location

I checked the archives and found some conflicting information regarding the ground lug location on a 70 wiper motor.

The AIM shows it top left screw on the pump cover. One member noted in archives it was screw next to three wire plug on the lower right as you face the motor.

There is a great picture of Kenneth Tozzi's showing his 71 in on the lower right screw.

Which one would be correct? Pics? Is it a single connector. That is what i have left on my harness.

    Thanks,

    Bill

Re: 70 wiper motor ground location

    Hi Bill,
I believe this is the ground connection on my 71's wiper motor. Does this look like the single connection you have left on you harness?
I retrieved these pictures from an earlier post.
    Regards,
    Alan

      Alan,

      You r a God send.

That is exactly what I needed. Connector is correct as is the wire orientation on the three terminal plug.

The restorer that did my wiper motor forgot the groung lug. He is a great guy and I am sure he will get me a lug.

      Thanks you!

      Bill
