Spark plug storage compartment

Just thought I would share with you all that I have recently discovered the hidden "spark plug storage compartment" designed into the body of the 1962 Corvettes.
After having the paint removed from the car via soda blasting it was necessary to wash the body off with vinegar and water and soap mix. In the process I got up close and personal with every little nook and cranny of the car and came upon the secret compartment to store extra spark plugs. A very clever design, however with difficult access under the passengers door sill plate.

David, same kinda' find on my '61. Found 2 4-oz fishing weights...must have been used for balast!!!

Do you have any pics of the naked lady that you could post....anxious to see what soda blasting looks like.

I have posted pictures in a different thread to show the soda blasting results. She indeed looks "naked"! I think I like the red better.

OK David, you found one of them. Now, let's see if you can find the other 7. That won't be as easy - rattle, rattle.
