I am replacing my rear tail light panel, and I was wondering if anyone has ever used the 3M brand adhesive. It is the self mixing kind that comes in a tube, and is dispensed with an applicator gun. I have used this with very good success, with bonding my hood together. What else would be good to use, if not this adhesive? Thanks
What is a good panel bonding adhesive to use?

Re: What is a good panel bonding adhesive to use?
Hi Michael,
I've used SEM's products, both the fast and slow (90 minute set) products and both work quite well, but I've also used the adhesive/filler from CC with very good results. If the repair will need to be worked for example where it overflows on bonding strips I've used the filler.
I don't have the codes with me right now but if you need them I can get them for you later. It's also applied from 2 tubes with a gun.
I've used the slow set for the light bar at the nose of the hood for the 77 and for the front clip to the firewall bonding strips. Fast set was used almost everywhere else, but the claims of no-sag are a bit exagerated.
Some people are religious about Fusor but I've never used it.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you need additional info.
Cheers.
