I was looking thru old hose clamps and found a box of what looked to be old dated radiator clamps (about 60 or so), the ones with a 3/8 head that pulls the clamp thru 2 crimped chanels. I sorted them by dates and noticed they were in sets of 12 & 8, 1950's & 60's. Then I remembered that when I rebuilt an aircraft engine I replaced the clamps with SS, and these were the ones that I didn't throw away. They are intake tube clamps for the 4 & 6 cylinder continental engines I was doing.
They look just like the repo ones that they sell today, but seem to be only the size of the upper hose with a few exceptions of others that may have been from a lycoming or franklin.
Just thought I would give you another place to dig if you get near the airport.
