I don't get into "value opinions" very often. In this case, while the LS-7 might be very desirable, it's not going to be of value to anyone doing a restoration. Once out of the restoration market, I would say it's value ought to be about the same as the cost to build up an equivalent engine from easily available parts.
Is the engine that you are referring to an original configuration LS-7 with aluminum heads or is it the 3965774 with cast iron heads?
