    Block weight

    Can anyone give me an estimate on the weight of a bare 327 block? I have to pick one up and I'm not sure if I need a trailer or can it be put in the back of an SUV.

      Only about 200lbs; delivered mine in the trunk of a car.

          I bought a 327 block for my 65. The guy transported it in the back of a small SUV (Pontiac Vibe). Not too hard to pick-up and around.
