Distributor in ZZ427 crate

I am getting ready to install a new ZZ427 crate motor in my 67 BB 427/390. Although it comes with a new HEI distributor, I am planning to re-use my original K66 distributor as I want to maintain the mechanical tach.

I believe the only change I need to make to the "old" distributor is to change the Distributor gear to part number 10456413.

Anything else I am missing?

I don't know if the original distributor curve is going to work well with the ZZ572, but, otherwise, all you need to be concerned about is the distributor gear. You should be able to transfer the gear from the supplied HEI distributor to your old one. Both should be a 0.493" OD shaft.
