    Corvette Registry

How do I get in touch with the administrator of the C1 Registry? I purchased a car and need to change the ownership on the registry. It will not let me do it.

    Hi John:

Dumb question, but did you log on before you attempted any changes ? Did you try the HELP tab on the registry page ??

Yes, I did log on, but it would not let me delete the prior owner and add myself. I just sent an email to Rob. Thanks for all the help.

Had the same problem, the owner that put it on the registry had to take it off, before you can put it back on.

From the FAQ at that site:

So do you change or remove a previous owner? When you log in it seems to remove you. Not sure what to do.

"If you have bought an already registered C1 Corvette please contact the previous owner to alter and handover his account information to you so you can continue keeping the C1 Registry information up to date.

If you are not successful in getting the needed account information send an e-mail to the webmaster stating your user name, the car's birth year and it's VIN together with a picture of either the VIN plate or part of the title stating your VIN proving the car is yours. When received we will assign the car to your account in one or two days and return you a mail to inform you so you will be able to manage its details and owners in the future."

Yep, that is how it works (and I'm pretty flexible in transferring car ownership)...

I regitered on that site to add my 1956 a few months ago. When I signed in, it showed that I also had another car listed (a 57) using my profile Now it won't even let me edit my car that I did add.

It still says I own 2 different cars and won't let me edit.

                      Hi Alex,

I've just checked it out and so far you have not added any car to your account (I checked your account belonging to the email address you also used for the NCRS.org administration). So there is no car tied into the account. I think you were confused with the car birthday list of that day (listed below the menu options)...

Check out the Help page for more detailed instructions how to add your car to the Registry or contact me if you run into any problems...

                      regards,
                      Rob

Hmmm, it's added right here under my account and I just checked my account settings and it is the same email as my NCRS email too, weird.
