I talked to a member who successfully polished out what he described as a "deep" scratch. I will let you know how mine works out.

Mike, Thanks, let me know what you use,some one told me cerium oxide is used to polish glass , but don't know if it take out wiper marks.

Yes Ed it is cerium oxide. Kits to polish glass are available from Eastwood (I think they advertise in The Driveline. I bought a kit from a local glass wholesaler that supplies the glazing industry.

I did the side and rear glass on my 1970. Don't listen to the folks who tell you if you can catch your fingernail it won't work. It all depends on how much time and effort you want to put into it. If you know how to look you can see the waves, and to remove them would be a big task.

Mike, someone else posted about a kit that includes abrasive paper and is good for major work, but the kit was pricey. Let your search function do the walking. We have been there and explored that.

My 67 originally came with a non tinted windshield but has a tinted replacement and received a deduct as well. If I install a clear windshield with a correct logo, will it receive full credit? I am thinking that it will but I would like to know for sure before I go through the expense and trouble.
