I recently replaced the shocks on my 1967 with some new, Delco replacements. These replacements are about 10-15 years old stock and look similar to original shocks, but obviously have different lettering, dating, etc.
The shocks that I took off my car were as follows:
FRONT: Delcos with GM# 3192868, dated 166-68
REAR: Delcos with GM# 4975487, dated 36-77
All four of the old shocks are still in good condition, and with a little paint would probably be nice for C3 judging if the part numbers are correct. Since I don't have the the C3 AIMs or Judging Manuals handy, I would appreciate it if someone could tell me whether these part numbers are correct for judging. The fronts would probably be for very late 1968 or early 1969 cars, and the rears for a mid to late 1977 car.
If they are correct for judging, I will try to find someone who can use them on his/her car.
