The tee that resides under hood, splitting the yellow striped vacuum line (I think, AIM is somewhat ambiguous), and supplying vacuum to the heater control panel in the center console. You would think that since all these cars had one, it wouldn't be difficult to find! Anyone know where I can find it?

Re: Source for correct heater control panel vacuum tee?
DR. rebuild has them in his catalog. I ordered one about 6 months ago. The one I received was black. I do not know if the ones in the Dr's hose kits are the correct color. I did get a new one (repop) in the correct color, but can't remember where. It may have been from an ebay vendor or one of the usual large Corvette catalog houses. They are out there. If I can remember where I got it I'll let you know.
An original is ok for a parts collection, but not so good to actually put to use. They get brittle with age and crack easily.Larry

Re: Source for correct heater control panel vacuum tee?
Hi,
My understanding is that the 'T' which is available has the proper size and number of nipples but is not the original configuration. The 2 larger nipples aren't opposite each other.
There was a thread about this 'T' a few months ago, but I can't recall if a source for the original configuration 'T' was determined.
This is the original from my 71.

Alan

This is the correct configuration.
I purchased one a few years back but I can't remember from who, maybe Paragon.
Actually I see that Corvette Central shows it as Item# 303303 1968-1982Attached Files- Top
