Engine L numbers list

I guess I'm ignorant but I only learned engines by Year,CI,and HP. Is there a list somewhere that says what size and HP a specific L # is?
1962 327/250 HP= L? .......1965 327/365 HP= L?

Thank's Gary, that is what I needed. I said to someone in a recent post (that was documenting L88's) that my 427 /435 was a L88. I have cast iron heads instead of aluminum. I need to find the post and correct that.

Not a complaint, but I note that the list is missing quite a few of the base engines- they carried an L code without being considered an 'option'.

RPO codes and other vehicle build codes are specific to year models or a range of year models. They may also be specific to certain car lines or certain models. So, there's no way that any "table" can identify codes without also identifying the year model(s), car lines, and models to which they are applicable.

L82 : ENGINE, GAS, 6 CYL, 3.lL, MFI, V6, HO

I saw those too. How about L84 : 327 CU. IN. ENGINE - 360 HP. That's correct only for 1963, proving Joe's point.

I only looked at this for a minute but I bet there are a lot more errors.
