    Another Tire Judging Question

If the date on the spare is 2-4 weeks after my build date will I receive full credit?

I found an original and it is dated about 2 weeks after my 70 was built.

I sure got excited until I realized the date was just a little off.

    Thanks, Bill

Just to clarify. The tire date is after the build date of my 70.

          Bill,
Just to complicate things further what is the code on the tire. ? As you have a 1070 car I assume you have a Goodyear tire as the Firestone codes are not known. A tire from 1970 will have the "short" code" as the production/date codes became longer in early 1971.
It is likely that about 10% of the judges will have the information and/or knowledge to decode the tire so your chances of a date deduct are small but if you want to be 100% like many of us then you need to keep looking.
