Introduction

Just wanted to say 'hello' and introduce myself today. My name is Jack Morocco and I've always owned at least one Corvette since the late 1970's. Unfortunately, I much prefer to view and enjoy reading threads from the seat of my computer than participating. I guess you can compare me to a designated driver...I'm here in attendance, but I'm more likely to refrain from joining in (sorry).

Long ago, on a planet far-far away, I ran a website called 'Corvette Surfing' (www.corvette.net) ...ahhh, I recall those speedy 14.4 dial-up modem sounds so well. A decade or so ago, I reduced it to a personal website about my '66 Corvette (300+ hours of hand coding)...and it remains old and outdated. Since then, family and personal health problems have severely limited my time in the Corvette hobby. With any luck (and perhaps a good witch doctor), maybe I can get back into the swing of thingz.

Welcome to the posting end of the TDB, Jack. I came across your website some time back while researching 1966 427 Corvette info. I enjoyed visiting the site. Love those old photos.

Good to hear from you "again", it has been a while, a dead dell pc ( with your email inside) prevented a MC-HNY note, but this is even better because I for one know that your health is much improved given you are here, the spark is alive, that same passion for Corvette's that you had back in the early days, and then when you put that website together, that only a good web investigator could find you email and write you... so good to see you are here!

I'm glad you took my recommendation and joined the NCRS...they can help a lot more than I ever could! Unfortunately, my medical situation is not much better...I'll send you an email with an update.
