    Re: Tires

A 205/70/15 = 26.3"x8.1"x15". A 215/70/15 = 26.9"x8.5"x15" so it is a smaller tire therefore it should not rub, but it will effect your speedo and odometer slightly.

      Re: Tires

FWIW, I have had Goodyear Regatta's on my 63 for about 6 years now (P205-75Rx15), or about 7000 miles. They are holding up well and look good, with the exception of one tire which tends to "yellow up" too soon. My speedo reads low by about 5 mph. I have been up to 130 mph on them, but don't do any sustained high speed driving. They steer well, even with my fast ratio steering, ride and handle good. The extra width, compared to the old 670x15's, makes them look more suitably sized for the car. I used to hate those old "bicycle" tires, and even the 775x15's were no improvement.
