Export Corvettes Europe? What to look for?

Any here knows if there is any special tags or something to look for on a export C2 for Europe?

My 1964 have km/h speedo and i am sure it is original.
I bought the car back in 1993 and the person i bought it from said the speed have always been in km/h

Normally, you would expect to see a supplementary data tag calling out particulars and a stamping of the VIN in an immediately accessible area on the frame, ie, easy to see and find.

I have had the undercarriage of the car cleaned and there is no stamps or anything that indicates that the car is an export model.

The only thing i noticed was a triangel painted on the gas tank and nothing else.

The car is original Daytina blue with a blue vinyl interior(Now red exterior and black leather interior)
It is a original AC car, radio, tinted windows, special high performance, and some other options

Can any tell me anything about the triangualar mark on the gas tank?

Claus, others: Here's a partial page out of a 1967 A/C Delco service bulletin about speedometer and tachometer calibration, etc., covering all GM back to the 50's.

I know I have seen a '65 (silver tanker, exported to Holland) with a metric speedometer. Sounds like yours is original, as conversions (dial face, worm gears [so that kilometers total and trip would be accurate] were available from Delco back then). The question is whether it left St. Louis like that.

Unfortunately, this document shows no conversion available for the '64 speedo head # 6408135, (or for the '65-7 # 6455367), at least as of the '67 date, in spite of both of us having seen them.

Hi Claus I had a very orig 67 base motor 3speed car that had export on the tank sticker, THERE was nothing else on the car to show it was a export car. I remember someone doing a survey on export cars a long time back. So I guess it depended on where the car was going for it to get special I.Ds and speedos Phil 8063

You could check to see if the broadcast label on the back of the instrument cluster is different than what would normally be expected.
