If I jell coat the floor pans on my 1957 how much of a point deduction is there . Thanks

if you gel coat the cockpit side of the pan, doubt judges will look under the carpet. if you gel coat the exterior surface of the pan, i'd try to get the same cream colored material as originaly used to press mold the pan. and you only have to have the central protion of the pan looking the same color as the original. the rest of the pan will get some exterior body color overspray. mike
