Correct clutch fan for '62

Can anyone tell me if this clutch fan that was on my brother's car is correct for the 340hp engine?

And,

if it is, how should it be painted on the front of the clutch?

Looks right for your 62. The early ones had a little nib off to the right of the Spring.
No black paint on the fan clutch at all. Also on the front of the fan clutch on the 12, 3, 6, and 9 oclock position you see the flat spot with a hole in it. That is a correct corvette item.

that's a 62 shaft and the rest of the pics support that the fan clutch is appropriate for a 62 vette.mike

the fact that the outside diameter is uniform(no step in it) excludes it as a service replacement. the service replacements are much more common on the c-2 judging fields. mike
